"About the the same time of my diagnosis with MS, I became severely intolerant to the heat of summer. My doctor, at the time, suggested wearing a hat, I found that less than useful. I found my only real escape from the heat came when we put a window air conditioner in our den to help our central air conditioning - that has been for 16 years.
